Please identify yourself as a UN staff member and ask to speak to Mr. William Gao. We have asked his agency to block a few seats in mid-July.
Our China programme starts on Monday, 14 July. The check-in date at the university
is Sunday, 13 July.
In order for you to get acclimated, you may consider arriving in Shanghai a
day earlier, on Friday, 13 July. We'll charter a bus to take us from Shanghai
to Nanjing on Sunday, 13 July. The fare is estimated at $20/person and the bus
ride is about 3.5 hours. The bus will depart about 10 am from the hotel (to be
informed later) where the group will stay. If you would like to take the charter
bus, you will need to arrive in Shanghai the previous day (Saturday, 12 July).
There will be an optional half-day tour of Shanghai on Saturday. If you are
interested in taking the tour, you will need to arrive in Shanghai by Friday
evening.
