The Chinese Language Programme welcomes the Year of the Rooster. People born in 1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993 and 2005 are said to be active, self-confident and enjoy challenges in every aspect of life. The Chinese New Year is determined by the lunar calendar and this year it begins on February 9.
